Welcome to Ojai

Set against the majestic Topatopa mountains, Ojai is a community famous for two things: its pastel-pink sunrises and its people. Since its founding in the late 1800s, it has always attracted the creative (artists, musicians, writers) and the spiritual (healers, yogis, wellness enthusiasts), all of whom contribute to a warm, respectful, laid-back lifestyle that makes it hard to leave.

Things to do:

Ojai has something for everyone. Avid reader? Pore over the shelves at Bart's Books, a beloved outdoor bookstore filled with literary treasures. More of a resort person? Visit the famed Ojai Valley Inn, where you can luxuriate at the spa or play a round of golf on its world-class course. And if you’re into art, I highly suggest taking part in the Ojai Studio Artist Tour, where you can meet local artists, visit their studios, and appreciate their work up close.
